Customs & Import Fees FAQs
Orders shipped internationally may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or regulatory clearance fees imposed by the destination country.
Where supported by our logistics partners, estimated duties and taxes may be displayed at checkout. Final assessment is determined solely by the destination country's customs authority.
Unless explicitly stated at checkout as prepaid duties (Delivered Duty Paid – DDP), the recipient is responsible for paying applicable customs duties or import taxes.
Indicrest.co.uk does not control customs regulations, tax rates, or clearance procedures.
Please refer to our Shipping Policy for further details.
If a shipment is refused due to unpaid customs duties or taxes, the package may be returned to us or abandoned by the carrier.
In such cases, original shipping costs, return shipping costs, customs penalties, or carrier fees may be deducted from any eligible refund.
Import fees are calculated by local authorities based on product classification, declared value, country of origin, and local tax regulations.
These charges are not set, modified, or collected by Indicrest.co.uk unless shown at checkout as prepaid duties.
Customs duties and government-imposed taxes paid directly to local authorities are generally non-refundable.
If you believe a customs charge was applied incorrectly, you must contact your local customs office directly.
